Summary

We are excited to announce an opening for a Registered Occupational Therapist at our innovative and multidisciplinary industrial rehabilitation clinic located in Providence. Our clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive industrial rehabilitation services, including Physical Therapy, Hand Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Work Hardening, and Comprehensive Pain Management, which encompasses a holistic approach with PT/OT, Psych, MD, RN, Vocational Counseling, and massage therapy when appropriate.

-Opportunity to learn functional capacity evaluation (FCE's)

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of orthopedic experience preferred
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) or interest in becoming eligible to take the CHT exam.
- Not an entry level position

-Multi tasking skills and time management skills are necessary

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning.
  • Document patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment strategies and health management.

TherapyWorks has an opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year.

TherapyWorks, Inc. is a Rhode Island company with a 29 year history of providing occupational therapy services in the school setting.

Responsibilities of the position include:

·        Direct treatment and consultation services

·        Collaboration with supervisor in drafting goals and documenting progress

·        Participation in IEP and other meetings related to the students on caseload
