Join us for an engaging and informative presentation focused on Inclusive Language in Occupational Therapy Practice. This event is designed to provide valuable insights and actionable strategies for fostering respectful and inclusive interactions with clients from underrepresented groups.

Learning Objectives:  By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Define inclusive language and its relevance to occupational therapy practice.

2. Describe specific principles and guidelines they can utilize to incorporate inclusive language into occupational therapy services, when working with clients from underrepresented groups.

3. Describe techniques for a respectful and adaptive response to a situation when they make a mistake and use language that a client finds harmful or offensive.
