 Family Connects Model: Interdisciplinary Treatment Model for Complex Traumas

Date: October 25, 2023

Presenters:  Jaymie Stavdal, MS, OTR/L, 

 Melanie Salort, OTR/L, and Meg Woodruff, LMFT

Objectives:

1. Participants will understand what each profession brings to treatment for children and families experiencing the effects of complex trauma.

2. Participants will identify the structure of the Family Connects model: weekly group sessions, parent consultations, and family therapy. 

3. Participants will name three or more elements that make the Family Connects model effective.  

4. Participants leave with one or more specific interdisciplinary interventions to support families impacted by complex trauma.

Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees 24 hours in advance of event.
